Hands-free scrolling at your pace

Tap any text field — lyrics, chords, or notes — into full-screen mode and let auto-scroll do the work. Adjust the scroll speed from 0.25x to 4x to match your tempo, and hit play. Song Hive scrolls steadily through the content so your hands stay on your instrument. Need to jump ahead? Just swipe — auto-scroll pauses while you navigate and picks back up when you let go.

Auto-scroll starts with a short pre-roll — the first line stays at the top of the screen while the virtual playhead descends towards the page midpoint, so you can read or sing the opening line before it disappears. The play button pulses while the pre-roll's running so it's obvious that scroll is about to kick in. At the other end of the song the last line lands at the midpoint instead of the bottom, so the closing line reads in the same place as every other line.

Synced to the song itself

When a song's lyrics are on LRCLIB, Song Hive can lock auto-scroll to the song's actual timing — each lyric line hits the page midpoint exactly when it's sung. Text sized for the stage

Pinch to zoom the text from 8pt to 40pt so it's readable whether your phone is on a music stand across the room or in your hand at a campfire. Each content tab remembers its own font size, so your chords can stay large while your personal notes stay compact. You can also set a global default font size in Settings.

Combined with the "Keep Screen Awake" option in Settings, performance mode turns your phone into a dedicated teleprompter — no taps needed once you press play.
