Your entire repertoire in one place — lyrics, chords, notes, and more.
Song Hive gives you a dedicated space for each song in your repertoire. Store the lyrics so you can review them anywhere, add chord charts so you never forget a tricky progression, and keep personal notes about arrangement ideas, key changes, or performance tips.
Organize your library with tags — group songs by genre, band, setlist, difficulty, or any category that makes sense for you. When your library grows, tags make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for in seconds.
Whether you're a solo artist building a covers catalog or a band member tracking hundreds of originals, Song Hive scales with you. The clean, focused interface keeps the emphasis on your music, not on navigating menus.
The chord-search modal pulls results from Ultimate Guitar with ratings — but it also surfaces UG Official tabs as their own labelled type, sorted to the top, so the canonical version of a song is always one tap away. Results are re-ranked by song-name relevance, so you don't have to scroll past unrelated catalog hits to find what you actually searched for.
When an Official tab sits behind UG's paywall and we can't reach the tab content directly, Song Hive spots the redirect immediately and offers to save the link to the chords field instead of leaving you waiting. The saved link renders as a tappable pill above the chord area on the editor, the play page, and the Perform screen — one tap opens the Official tab in your browser, switch back and you're still on the same song.
Lyric imports from LRCLIB go a step further: the plain text comes through with proper verse breaks rather than as one concatenated wall, derived from the gaps in the timing data. The same formatting applies when you import a whole Spotify playlist as a set list.
